Area 1 – (1st Week in Nov., Dec., & Jan) Between Washington and Deacon along North side of Marne Highway and from North Side of Marne Highway to Cooper Springs. To include Oakdale, Creek Woods, Hainesport Proper, Croft Court and Beacon Hill. Area 2 – (2nd week in Nov., Dec., & Jan.) Franklin Estates, Mosside, Clermont, Lumberton Road, South side of Route 38 from Lumberton Road to Lawrence Blvd. Area 3 – (3rd Week in Nov., Dec., & Jan.) Rancocas Heights, Mason’s Woods, Glenn at Mason’s Creek, Mount Laurel Road from Marne Highway to Route 38, Creek Road from Mount Laurel Road to Marne Highway and Marne Highway from Washington to Trenton Avenue. Area 4 – (4th Week in Nov., Dec., & Jan.) Hainesport Chase, Sage Run, Laurel Ridge, Creekview, Lakeside, Creek Road from Route 38 to Parry Drive, Fostertown Road, Applewood Court, Phillips Road, Fenimore Road and Mount Laurel Road West from Route 38 to Township Line. · Leaves must be raked to the curb by 7:00 AM on the Monday of your scheduled collection week. · Leaves commingled with brush or any other refuse will not be collected. · Bagged leaves will not be collected with regular trash. · Inclement weather may affect the above schedule. Bagged leaves will be collected by the Hainesport Township Public Works Department at anytime and are not subject to the above schedule provided they are: · Placed at the curb · Not commingled with brush or any other refuse. TIPS ON MOSQUITO CONTROL The Burlington County Health Department and the Burlington County Mosquito Division offer these tips on the controlling of the Mosquitoes around the home and communities.
There are 63 species of mosquitoes found in New Jersey, and not only are they an annoyance, but some have the ability to spread disease. In light of the introduction of West Nile Virus through mosquitoes this past fall, it is time to take action and do your part.
The single most effective way to control mosquitoes around the home is to remove all standing water.
FOCUS ON BACKYARD POOLS During the swimming season there are numerous complaints that are checked into by the Burlington County Health Department regarding stagnant swimming pools. They offer these guidelines to control mosquito breeding in a backyard pool.
